Ready to Haul is seeking a hard-working and detail oriented Operator for our Clearing and Erosion Control Division.
Operate construction equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury or property damage.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a construction operator. Experience in clearing and/or erosion control (seeding, straw blowing, matting, filter sock & silt fence) is a plus but not required. Must have a clean driver's license. A CDL is a plus but not required.
Must be able to travel 3 to 10 days at a time. Company pays for travel and hotel plus Per Diem.
Starting wage for qualified candidate is between $18 and $25 per hour depending on qualifications.
We are located in the Barnesville, Ohio area. We provide erosion control and clearing services to the gas & oil industry in western Pennsylvania, central Ohio and northern West Virginia.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, procedures, and customer expectations
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
Clean equipment as scheduled and/or required
Ensure equipment is safely and securely stored
Advise the foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
Participate in routine maintenance
Practice workplace safety
May lead, guide, and train staff performing related work
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Report on time, in company uniform and professional appearance to designated location specified by supervisor.
Prioritize, schedule and communicate plans and tasks to crew leaders & member
Maintain positive relationship with customers and clients.
Promote positive public relations and image.
Maintain proper housekeeping at shop, at jobsites, with vehicles, with equipment, and at hotels/motels.
Communicate (via phone call or text) to mechanic ASAP (no later than by the end of the day) for any repair or maintenance issues for vehicles and equipment. Driver’s Vehicles Inspection Report must be turned into the mechanic ASAP (next time at the shop).
Use assigned company credit cards for work purchases only and turn in all company purchase receipts to the office administrator per company policy.
Frequently work more than 40 hours per week and non-traditional hours including night shift, Saturdays and occasionally Sundays.
Perform additional assignments per Operations Managers direction.
Cross train and work in ALL divisions on an as needed basis.

CDL A Driver/ Blower Truck Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Install variety of material into landscapes.
Supervise/Lead other member(s) of installation crew.
Communicate with clients in a professional manner to insure client satisfaction.
Have the ability to pull 4" to 5" hose from the truck to landscape beds, connect and drop hose lengths as needed by installer.
Perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following: budget material installed to insure clients receive the cubic yards ordered, set up and manage hose, monitor/check material during installation, thoroughly cleanup job sites according to company standards.
Safely operate vehicles in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Perform routine vehicle inspections to insure safety & ongoing performance and reliability of truck, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting of repairs as needed.
Ability to take constructive feedback from Supervisor.
Proactively respond in looking for potential hazards, problems and overall safety as well as taking corrective action.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety and company standards.
Strong accuracy, attention to detail and organization skills while providing superior customer service.
Good time management and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to recognize and identify product both near and from distance.
Exceptional attendance and reliability.
Valid Class A or B CDL driver’s license for the state in which you reside.
Familiarity with roads and traffic challenges in Central Ohio.
Reliable transportation to and from our Columbus Location with a varying schedule.
Must be able to speak & understand English.
Able to pull a minimum up to 150lbs (250 feet) of hose. Ability to lift 50bs on a regular basis.
Strong knowledge and understanding of outdoor environment and safety precautions.
Prior experience in detail oriented work.
Must strictly adhere to all safety standards at all times.
